Wardrobe OS is a wardrobe and outfit app. This page says what we collect, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how you take it back.
What we collect
| What | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider; we never see them. | To make your account and sign you in. | Our database (Supabase). |
| Your closet: items, brands, colours, notes you write, tailoring notes, favourites, what you wore and when. | To run the app. | Our database. Only you can read it. |
| About you answers (optional): your build, how you like clothes to fit, and your style, colour and occasion tastes, from a short poll after sign-up. Skip it or clear it any time in Profile → About you. | To suit outfits and the stylist to you. | Our database. Only you can read it. |
| Photos you add, and photos you attach to a question. | To show your closet and to recognise items. | Private file storage. Only you can open them. |
| Ask conversations: your questions and the answers. | So they are still there next time. | Our database. You can clear them. |
| Technical reports if the app breaks: the error message, app version, phone model, system version, the screen you were on, and the last few steps. Emails, file paths and ids are removed first. Never anything from your closet. | To find and fix bugs. | Our database. |
| Invite requests on our website: your email and anything you choose to add (a name, which phone you use, a note). We also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address for a short while, only to stop abuse; the address itself is not stored. | To send you an invite and reply to you. | Our database. Not shared with anyone. Ask us to delete it any time. |
| The date you last opened the app. One date, nothing about what you did. | To count how many people use the app. | Our database. |
Kept on your phone only: your calendar events (read on the phone to plan your day, never stored on our servers), your weather location, and your settings.
What leaves your phone, and to whom
- Google (Gemini AI), only if you allow it. We ask before the first send. We send the photos you add or attach, the questions you ask (with the last few messages of the chat, so follow-ups make sense), with Ask a summary of your closet (item types, colours, brands, materials, seasons, how dressy and how warm each piece is, your fit notes, when you last wore each piece), with Ask also, if you filled in the optional "About you" poll, your answers to it (build, fit, style, colours, what you dress for; never your name or email), and for outfit questions a summary of your day (times, how dressy each event is, the weather) without event titles. Google processes it to produce the answer. We use Google's free Gemini service, and Google's terms for it say Google may use that content to improve its products, and that its reviewers may read some of it. Please don't attach photos or ask about anything you wouldn't want that. You can turn this off in Profile → Privacy & data at any time, and the app still works without it.
- Open-Meteo (weather). Your location, rounded to about 1 km, is sent to get the forecast. Open-Meteo also sees your IP address.
- Supabase (hosting, sign-in, database, file storage). Your account data is stored with them, in the United States (US East).
- Expo (app updates). When the app checks for updates, Expo's servers see the app version, platform and your IP address.
- Google (Gmail) delivers our sign-up and password codes to your address.
- Apple and Google deliver the app and handle any store purchases.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites. There are no advertising or analytics tools in the app or on our website.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
- Delete my account (Profile → Account) removes your account, closet, photos, conversations and technical reports from our systems. This cannot be undone.
- Delete all my data (Profile → Privacy & data) removes your closet, photos, wear history, "About you" answers and conversations but keeps your sign-in.
- Export my data gives you a copy of your closet, wear history, "About you" answers and conversation.
- Backups. Our database provider may keep routine backups for a short time (up to about 7 days), so deleted data can remain in a backup until it expires.
- Google handles the content it receives under its Gemini API terms.
- To ask us to delete something, or to withdraw a permission, write to privacy@ragana.app. Withdrawing the AI permission in the app takes effect immediately.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California) you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your data, to object to some uses, and to complain to your data protection authority. Most of this you can do yourself in the app; for the rest, email privacy@ragana.app.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who we send it to, we will update this page and, for anything involving your AI permission, ask you again.
