Wardrobe OS
Private beta · free · iPhone and Android

Looking your best is non-negotiable.

Wardrobe OS is an AI stylist that knows everything in your closet. Add your clothes once, then get an outfit for the day you actually have: your calendar, the weather, and what is clean.

We are inviting people in small groups. No ads, no tracking on this site, and your closet stays private.

How it works

From a full closet to a decision in seconds.

Most of us own plenty of clothes and still start the morning with nothing to wear. Wardrobe OS turns your closet into something that can answer back.

Add your closet

Photograph your clothes, up to 40 at a time. The AI recognises the type, colour and brand, and asks you only when it is not sure. It never guesses silently.

Get dressed for your day

Today reads the timing and dressiness of your calendar and the forecast, then plans one outfit, or two when you really need to change between a workout and dinner.

Mix it your way

Swap any piece on the outfit board and see a live rating. Lock what you love, shuffle the rest, and tap Wear this so tomorrow's pick adapts.

What is inside

Built around the clothes you already own.

No store, no endless scrolling. Every suggestion comes from your closet, and everything is a piece you can actually put on.

Ask your stylist

Chat about what to wear, what goes with what, whether to buy something, or what to pack. It sees your whole closet and remembers the conversation.

The outfit board

Top and bottom, a suit, or a dress. Layers, shoes, a watch, belts, jewelry, a bag, even fragrance. Swap anything and see the rating change.

Plans around your day

Reads your calendar on the phone to judge how dressy each event is. Event titles are never sent anywhere, and the planning itself runs on your phone.

Add many photos at once

Pick a camera roll full of clothes and let it work in the background. Duplicates are caught, and unclear photos wait for you to tell them apart.

Shop smarter

Ask before you buy. It tells you what you already own that overlaps and what a new piece would actually pair with, so the closet gets better and not bigger.

A morning outfit, ready

An optional notification each morning with what to wear today, built on your phone from your closet, calendar and forecast.

How we use AI

AI where it helps. Rules where it must be right.

Recognising a garment from a photo and talking through a style question are jobs for a language model. Scoring an outfit, reading a calendar and keeping your closet straight are not, so those run as deterministic code on your phone.

  • Photo recognition and the stylist use Google's Gemini models. Your photos, questions, a summary of your closet and a summary of your day go to Google, only after you say yes, and you can switch it off any time.
  • It only suggests what you own. The stylist is given your complete closet and told to name only pieces that are in it and available. A piece in the wash or at the tailor is never suggested.
  • It admits when it is unsure. A low-confidence guess is shown as a question, not saved as fact, and your own notes always win over the AI's.
  • Costs are capped. There is a daily limit per person and across all users, enforced in the database, so a busy day cannot become a surprise bill.

Built on

A React Native app for iPhone and Android, a Postgres database with row-level security so each person can only ever read their own closet, serverless functions for the AI calls, and Google Gemini for vision and conversation.

Your closet, your data

Private by design.

Your wardrobe says a lot about you. We treat it that way.

  • Only you can read it. Your closet, notes, wear history and chats sit in a private account.
  • No ads, and we do not sell your data. This site has no trackers or analytics.
  • Your calendar stays on your phone. Titles, places and notes are never uploaded or sent to the AI.
  • You are in control. Export everything, or delete your account and all its data from inside the app.

Where we are

Wardrobe OS is in a private beta, free while we learn, with an iPhone build on TestFlight and an Android build. We are inviting people in small groups and reading every piece of feedback. A public App Store release comes after the beta.

Questions

The short answers.

Is it free?

Yes, during the private beta. Early testers are grandfathered when pricing arrives.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone, through TestFlight, and Android. Request an invite and we will send the right link.

Does it read my calendar?

Only if you allow it, and only on your phone. It works out how dressy your day is from the timing and wording of events, and never sends titles, places or notes anywhere.

Who sees my photos?

Only you can see them in the app. If you allow AI features, a shrunken copy of a photo is sent to Google's Gemini service to recognise the item. You can turn that off and still add items by hand.

Does it work for dresses, skirts and suits?

Yes. Outfits can be a top and bottom, a suit with a shirt, or a dress or jumpsuit on its own, with layers, shoes and finishing touches on top.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Profile, then Delete my account. Your items, photos and conversations are removed. Routine backups can hold a copy for up to about 7 days. You can also email privacy@ragana.app and we will do it for you.
